Property management
Your property.
Our responsibility.

What good management looks like
Property, properly managed.
Management is a service you notice most when it's absent: the call that wasn't returned, the leak that became a ceiling, the tenancy that ended badly because nobody spoke to anyone.
We've been doing this from Crouch End since 1946. That means a working knowledge of the local building stock — Victorian and Edwardian conversions, purpose-built flats, mixed-use commercial premises — and contractors who turn up.
Every property is managed by people you can name and reach.
Communication
You hear from us before you have to ask. Tenants reach a person who knows the property.
Maintenance
Repairs arranged with contractors we know, at a standard we'd accept in our own homes.
Tenant relationships
Tenants who are treated properly look after a property properly. That's most of the job.
Inspections
Periodic visits and clear reporting, so nothing quietly turns into a large bill.
Rent and accounts
Rent monitored and paid over, arrears addressed early, statements you can actually read.
Administration
Renewals, notices, deposits and compliance paperwork handled on time.
Standards
Professional standards.
Personal service.
The Property Ombudsman
Howard & Manning is a member of The Property Ombudsman Scheme, giving landlords and tenants access to independent redress.
