Hornsey, N8
Hornsey property guide
The area
Hornsey runs either side of the High Street, between Crouch End and Wood Green. It is less self-consciously village-like than its neighbour and more mixed in character: Victorian terraces on the residential roads, purpose-built flats of several eras, and newer development around the station and the former gasworks site.
Renting and letting here
The rail connection to Moorgate makes Hornsey popular with commuting tenants, and the terraced stock — much of it converted into flats — turns over steadily. Landlords with property here usually find that presentation and a sensible asking rent matter more than square footage.
Because our office is a short distance away in Crouch End, properties in Hornsey are as easy for us to manage as those on our own street: inspections, contractor visits and viewings all happen without a journey across London.
